The Altius Private leadership team worked with our client to assemble and establish a residential rental portfolio in identified high-growth areas across Central and East London.
The mandate was to provide a clear route from private investment to long-term occupation, creating a portfolio capable of delivering commercial returns alongside meaningful social value.
Working with an identified public sector partner and wider professional teams, the programme brought acquisition, refurbishment, leasing and management together around the clients long-term objectives.
Building a residential portfolio required more than identifying and sourcing suitable properties. Each home needed to support investment criteria, meet the required standard for occupation and respond to genuine housing demand.
Suitable homes were identified before being refurbished and prepared for occupation. Decisions were considered in the context of both resident needs and the future performance of the portfolio.
In partnering public sector needs with private capital, the Altius team had to bridge this divide, aligning stakeholders on the programme objectives and expectations to create an enduring partnership.
A bespoke supply agreement was established, providing a clear route to stabilised occupation. Ongoing property and asset management gave continuity beyond delivery, close cost management and tenant sustainment.
The stragegy created a high yielding portfolio of family-sized homes, giving our client a clear and straightforward route from private investment to long-term income generation.
The leasing structure supported sustained housing provision, while coordinated management reduced the day-to-day demands placed on the investor and helped protect the condition and performance of the properties.
For our client, the result was a resilient residential portfolio aligned with its commercial objectives, while providing professionally managed homes for London residents.
